There was no reason to have some random girl from Hiro's past be a victim here. They've never needed that sort of motivation before, and if you're just going to gecko-ify Ruli anyway, why not just let that be enough? Now we have a childhood friend that we've never heard the slightest mention of before and that we'll never bother to visit or hear from again.

Hiro and Ruli would have investigated and solved the human gecko infestation anyway (and drug Kiyoshiro along while they were at it) without needing any sort of emotional attachment to a victim.

The upcoming episode appears to center on Ruli...? Hopefully we'll get Lamortmon next. ಥ ‿ ಥ

Well, the new key visual has Lamortmon in there so I suppose we'll get to see him soon. And since the next episode "may" be center on Ruli, it'd be a great chance for him to evolve; otherwise it'd be a waste. But let's just hope that they won't disappoint us like what they did in the previous episode. (ب_ب)

Angoramon has had like 4 episodes previously that were better chances for him to digievolve so it would be so weird if they finally let him digievolve there

I didn't think that they will use again Salamandamon after Gulus Gammamon debut episode.
Salamandamon likes to eat diamonds and I think that Demon lord of Greed Barbamon would be terrified by that sight. xD

Next episode - Lamortmon's debut? I really hope that will happen, because it looks like they build Ruli's and Angoramon's characters and bond from Digitamamon's episode to now, with Angoramon failed sometime to save Ruli (like in this episode).
Perfect level digimon will be really needed in next episode, especially if enemy is Were Garurumon or Cerberumon Werewolf mode.

Why does the video pixelate when an evolution happens? This has happened almost every episode, and the pixelation stops when it moves to the next scene.

Kids turning into monsters? Most precious material in the world being stolen in bulks? I'm not sure what authorities would do in this situation, but they certainly wouldn't just wait for it to resolve itself.

Just end this series and proceed to a new project with more interesting concept, please. This show is pointless. I wondee if japanese kids still watch this boring film

Decent episode, was expecting something more darker, but I guess we won't be getting that kind of episode anytime soon... however, the preview for next week seems interesting... is that going to be the episode where Angoramon reaches Ultra? My copium senses are tingling, but we'll have to wait and see.

Angoramon failed to keep an eye on Ruli this time and BetelGammamon was making more close encounters than he usually does and even acted against Hiro's orders to fall back.

I really wish the writers/directors would use Renamon or one of the monsters in that evolution in an episode. The Renamon line can be pretty scary if used correctly.

A Salamander is supposed to be an amphibian so it turning people into reptiles likr Grcko should actually not make sense even the wall climbing

Is kinda funny how this was the more "light hearted" episode after kiyoshiro's near death experiences and gammamon almost being replaced and erased from existence

and that "more relaxed" episode involved one of our main characters being turned into a mindless gecko
